About myself

My name is Ronald Raijmakers (1967), born, raised, and living in Veghel, the Netherlands.
My first serious interest in photography started in the 80's, when I picked up my sisters old slr camera.
In 1990 I bought my first autofocus slr camera, a Minolta 5000i. I stuck with Minolta until I switched to Canon in 2006.
I joined Fotoclub Veghel in 1992, where my fellow photographers helped me to improve my photos.
Nowadays my photographic interest share a wide variety of topics, with travel being the most important to me.
The last few years I started photographing local events, trying to capture peoples passion with their work or hobby.
Animal portraits at the zoo and air show photos can also be found on this site.

This website gives you smal selection of my work from the last years, new photos wil be added frequently.
Thank you for visiting my site and please come back.
